Duties

• Working as part of a team
• MIG welding on Mild steel and some Flux Core welding
• Pipe welding and structural welding as required
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
• Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements

Skills & Experience

• Australian Work Rights (all VISA's/perm residents/citizens)
• National Police Clearance within 3 months - or willing to obtain one
• Ability to pass Weld Test assessment
• Ability to read drawings
• Experience in Fabrication & MIG or Flux Core Welding
• Strong commitment to a safe work environment

As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
